Custom Crumpler Barney Rustle Blanket Cats Bag

I’m a big fan of both the Geelong Football Club and Crumpler Bags. Having a Crumpler Barney Rustle Blanket as a daily bag, I decided it needed the pow factor of the GFC Cat! I put an ordinary image together combining the logo on a photo of my current Bag and emailed it off to the fine people at the Crumpler Custom Bag shop. The mocked up a design and we picked the custom colour scheme. Once approved it took about 2 weeks to make. Sure it cost a bit more than the standard bag, but I know there are only 2 bags out there holding the Famous Geelong Cats Logo.

New Camera – Canon 20D with Battery Grip

I’ve switched from Pentax to Canon. Mainly due to the great variety of lenses and I feel the Canon body is just that little bit better than Pentax. I hadn’t spent big $$ on any of my Pentax so it was an easy transition. Now to aquire a 70-200  F4L, 24-105mm L, 10-22 EFS and 50mm F1.8 lens.

Tilt Shift Photography Technique with Photoshop CS4

Phot taken @ Bondi Beach, Sydney in December 2006.Now apply the Tilt Shift Technique – Open in Photoshop – Q for Quick Mask, Gradient Tool and then the 4th option from the left of Gradient. Draw a line from bottom to top about 1/3 of the photo in the middle. Next hit Q to revert out of quick mask and next choose the Lens Blur Filter. Once done, Bump the Saturation up to +40. Adjust curves if necessary.
